Membership Type and Eligibility

ITAA membership is open to any company with operations situated in the U.S. and offering products and services related to IT or electronics.

ITAA bylaws stipulate that companies not individuals are designated members. The ITAA Board of Directors has passed a resolution that states in part that “any company whose primary business activity is the recruitment of personnel is excluded from membership.” Examples include executive search firms.

ITAA offers membership in two categories – Full Membership and Associate Membership.

Full Members: Any organization shall be eligible as a Full Member if it publicly markets information technology or information technology-related products or services or manufactures or markets electronics or electronics-related products or services in the United States.

Associate Members: Any organization that is not eligible as a Full Member shall be eligible as an Associate if it is engaged in activities related to the information technology or electronics industries or manufactures products or provides services to these industries in the United States. Note: This category of membership is available to the Public Sector and Commercial Sector Groups only.
